Buescher himself did release a statement:

The 17 team has been RFK Racing stout team for the better part of the last 3 years. 2023 being a highlight point with 3 victories and a round of 8 appearance. Buescher currently sits 7th in the points as the 1 of 2 Ford drivers in the top 10 along with Ryan Blaney
