Day 3 of the NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana featured the quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers.
There were so many incredible performances by the offensive skill position players, that I can’t possibly put them all down here.
So here we go, I’m giving you the best of the best from Day 3.
FYI, Texas WR Xavier Worthy’s record-breaking performance 40-yard dash, is a separate article.
Winner – Rome Odzune – WR – Washington.
The Washington Husky had a great combine. He ran a fast 4.45 in the 40 with a 1.52 10-yard split. He had a 39-inch vertical jump and a 10’4″ broad jump.
The 6’3″, 212 lbs, senior looked excellent during the on-the-field drills. He was very smooth in the gauntlet drill (see above), he ran crisp routes, and caught almost every ball thrown his way.
He solidified himself as a 1st round draft pick in April.
Loser – Audric Estime – HB – Notre Dame.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back had an absolutely terrible day at the NFL Combine.
He ran a horribly slow 4.71 in the 40-yard dash, with a 1.5810-yard split. He had a 38-inch vertical jump and a 10’5″ broad jump.
He looked stiff, his feet were sloppy, and he had no acceleration or burst.
