Currently, the college baseball season is coming to an end, with the Men’s College World Series Championship Series. The LSU Tigers are taking on the Florida Gators, and the Tigers heading into Sunday, lead the series 1-0.
LSU has such a great team this season, including the addition of Tommy “Tanks” White, from NC State. LSU has a pitcher, Paul Skenes, who transferred to LSU as well, just like Tommy Tanks, but Skenes transferred from the Air Force.
Paul Skenes has had plenty of footage of how hard and fast he throws, but also has an interesting dynamic when it comes to his teammates.
Skenes goes around the clubhouse and tells all his teammates that he “outworks you” and points.
From the prospective of LSU Tigers teammates, could this be viewed as a positive thing, similar to an encouragement to “do better”? Or is it more often viewed as an insult and Skenes isn’t a well liked guy in the clubhouse?
Skenes definitely has a bright future ahead of him, especially with how much velocity he currently has on the collegiate level.
