3 Straight Wins
In sports you wanna be on the right side of history which means if you do something that is historic for a sport that’s been around for over 75 years that’s impressive.
Tyler Reddick, 23XI did just that in Circuit of the Americas (COTA).
After a winless, frustrating season the No. 45 bunch have their eyes firmly set on making a statement that they are the team to beat.
Nobody could get in their way other than Shane Van Gisbergen, the best road course driver in the next gen era, but even he couldn’t reel Reddick in.
Reddick now maintains the points lead through 3 races so far. The No. 45 is out for blood and flexing their muscle.
Snider Reliefs Bowman
A crazy situation unfolded at COTA in a situation that hasn’t been seen since Erik Jones relieved Kyle Busch in 2015.
Myatt Snider relieved No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports driver Alex Bowman in what will go down as Snider’s first attempt at Cup. Bowman, who was feeling under the weather for the vast majority of the race, decided pull into the garage but Hendrick Motorsports chose to continue to race the car in hopes of potentially gaining more spots. Snider would end up running around in 36th 5 laps down due to the driver swap.
Hopefully, Bowman is alright moving forward as the No. 48 team now finds itself 36th in points (dead last for full time drivers)
