Conor MacGregor Returns to UFC! Maybe, possibly, so we have heard.
The highly anticipated fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler hasn’t been officially confirmed for June 29th at UFC 303 yet.
Although, both fighters expressing their excitement and readiness for the bout. McGregor, who hasn’t been seen in the Octagon since suffering a leg injury in his trilogy loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021, and Chandler, coming off a loss to Poirier at UFC 281 in November 2022, are eager to make their return to the cage.
The confirmation of the fight was shared by McGregor on his Instagram, indicating that the matchup will take place at the welterweight limit of 170 pounds, a change from their usual weight classes. This announcement follows a long period of speculation and anticipation among fans and the MMA community.
The UFC 300 press conference did not feature a formal announcement regarding the fight, with Dana White addressing the rumors and advising not to believe everything read on the internet. However, this did not dampen the excitement surrounding the upcoming showdown between McGregor and Chandler.
