Juan Soto’s Goal is Not so Yankee Orientated

Newly acquired New York Yankees outfielder has a goal, he has his eyes set on hitting a home run in every ballpark in the Major Leagues. Juan Soto has hit regular season HRs in 24 of the current 30 Major League stadiums. Now that he is in the American League he has a chance next week when the Yankees open up a series vs Houston on the road, Minute Maid Park could be the 25th stadium he has homered in during his career. Soto played there last year where he was held to just 2 hits over 10 at bats.

Other stadiums include Progressive Field in Cleveland in the middle of April, where he has never played. Then at the end of May the Yankees travel west to Angel Stadium. Next stop August 12th a 3 game set at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago as the Yanks face the White Sox, Soto and the Yankees travel to Texas on Sept. 2nd-4th for a showdown at Globe Life Field. Lastly Juan Soto has his eyes set on T-Mobile Park in Seattle. Seattle is not the best park to hit home runs in, but come on this is Juan Soto, who is arguably the best player in the league, or darn close to it.

Manny Machado and Giancarlo Stanton are the only active players to have homered in each of the 30 current Major League stadiums.

We all like to set goals and really wish to achieve them as well. That being said, shouldn’t Juan Soto’s main priority be; to play the best baseball of his life, stay healthy and help carry the Yankees to the World Series? What does the future holds for Soto and his hopes of hitting home runs in 6 ballparks this season, I would say its is very likely, it is only 6 home runs… and I can’t wait to see it happen. If he does this and helps the Yankees win the Championship he’s gonna be a hero for NY even if he is only in the Bronx for one season. Soto will definitely be a fan favorite in no time, after his amazing Spring this year he already is in my eyes. I am also predicting Juan Soto takes home MVP honors this season (you can tell he is already my favorite player).

*teaser alert* In the future I will be discussing the following questions; Will the Yankees resign him? What a contract may look like? What if he doesn’t sign with the Yankees where will he sign? What do we do if we do lose him to free agency?

All these questions are gonna weigh on my mind all season. What are your thoughts on this piece, leave a comment in the section below. #GoYankees #GoodLuckJuan #MVPSoto
