The Cleveland Cavaliers Summer League team has been handling their business. They defeated the previously unbeaten, Houston Rockets 99-78 capturing their first summer league championship.

The Cavs were led by Isaiah Mobley with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Sam Merrill scored 27 points with 6 three pointers. Lastly, rookie Emoni Bates scored 19 points with 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

The Rockets were led by Nate Hinton with 18 points and 10 rebounds. The Cavs swept through the Summer League with a 6-0 record and hopefully we will see maybe about 4 of those Cavs on the Summer League Team, on the actual roster in the fall.

Way to go Summer League Cavs, job well done see y’all in September.
