It’s President’s Day weekend and as we honor those that have occupied the oval office, I wanted to look at a few moments in which Cleveland sports has crossed paths with the President.

November 2, 1988 – The Cleveland Browns were well into their 1988 campaign and on that Wednesday, the then current President Ronald Reagan stopped by Berea to visit the Browns. The Gipper, as Reagan was known as, told jokes with players and was also throwing footballs. It was a nice photo op as he was campaigning for George H.W. Bush.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
