The Knicks Win! Finish Philly; Knicks vs Pacers; Game 1 Is Monday Night At The Garden

For the first time since their playoff runs between 1992 and 2000, the New York Knicks have advanced to the second round of the postseason in back-to-back years.

However, during that previous stretch, no player achieved the remarkable feat that Jalen Brunson accomplished in this series – scoring 40 points or more in each of the final three games.

Brunson became the first Knick to accomplish such a scoring outburst since the legendary Bernard King did so 40 years ago. Moreover, he is the first NBA player to score 40 or more points in three consecutive games to close out a series since Michael Jordan did so for the Chicago Bulls against the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1989.

As “Let’s go Knicks! Let’s go Knicks!” chants were going off in Philly, Josh hart came up with the clutch shot to make it 114-111. After Joel Embiid fouled out, Donte DiVincenzo put the nail in the coffin from the free throw.

NY Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers

A revival of one of the intense Eastern Conference rivalries from the 1990s could be on the horizon. While legends Reggie Miller and Patrick Ewing have retired, dynamic All-Star guards Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson have taken center stage.

This second-round series promises to be highly entertaining, featuring a coaching chess match between Tom Thibodeau and Rick Carlisle, as well as star power on both teams.

Each side also boasts a former Toronto Raptor who has been highly productive since the trade deadline – O.G. Anunoby and Pascal Siakam. These two players may end up guarding each other in this series and could both emerge as decisive factors.
