The Dallas Cowboys, fresh off a incredible comeback win 24-21, vs. NFC East Rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles will face another tough test as the Kansas City Chiefs, will visit on Thanksgiving, in this epic matchup.

Things don’t get easy for the Cowboys, who are looking to make the playoffs down the stretch. They are coming off back to back wins for the first time this season as they came back from 21 points down to defeat the Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

Some of the upcoming opponents, in their six remaining games, might not look as formidable as they first did when the Cowboys schedule for November and December has 6 playoff teams from a year ago. The Joys of a second place schedule.

The Chiefs are in the same boat as the Cowboys, as they are outside the seven team playoff picture just like the Cowboys.

Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes who lead the top two offenses, in the NFL will square off.

For the Cowboys, it will probably take 5 wins in the last six games, but the safer scenario, would be to win out. If the Cowboys get to ten wins that might get them into the playoffs.

The Prodigal Son Returns home:

Mahomes, who grew up in East Texas, and his dad, former Major League Pitcher, Pat Mahomes was a Cowboys fan. Mahomes in his youth watched the Cowboys as a youngster.

He finally got to play at AT&T stadium when Texas Tech played Baylor.

For the Cowboys George Pickens is having a career year, following a trade to Dallas from the Steelers, in the spring. So far he has been Dak Prescott’s go to receiver in tough situations. Along side Ceedee Lamb they are the number one duo, of receivers in the NFL. With a improved defense via trades, if the Cowboys get into the playoffs, this team will be very dangerous.

Final Score and Predicton:

In the past two games, Cowboys defensive tackle Quinnen Williams has been a distruptive force. The Chiefs will be without their stellar starting guard Trey Smith, so look for Williams to dominate up front. On the offensive side of the ball, the Cowboys will have to run the ball early, and get some home cooking with George Pickens, and get Ceedee Lamb involved early to raise his confidence. Look for a close game as the Cowboys will get a few key stops in the fourth quarter in a close matchup.

Final Score: Dallas Cowboys 28- Kansas City Chiefs 21
