The Dallas Cowboys, will try to make it two wins in a row, as they travel to the Windy City to face the Chicago Bears.

Last week, in a typical Cowboys vs Giants shootout at Arlington Stdium, the Cowboys prevailed in Overtime 40-37 with Brian “Butter Aubrey making clutch kicks and Dak Prescott and the Offense who led the charge.

Sunday’s Matchup marks the first meeting, between these two storied franchises since 2022, and the Cowboys first visit to Soldier field since 2019.

The Cowboys running attack has come alive in the first two games to start the season. They have scored 6 touchdowns so far this season. They scored that total in 2024. Javontae Williams has 3 of those touchdowns, and has been a great free agent signing, in the offseason from the Denver Broncos. Miles Sanders has also gotten into the act as well with some key rushes. On the receiving side of the ball Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens have been clicking with Dak Prescott. Prescott coming off Hamstring Surgery has a hop in his step and is playing with more emotion then ever and taking charge of the offense.

For the Cowboys to win this game, they will have to put through a game of consitency on both sides of the ball to secure a convinving victory. Here are a few matchups that will be the key to victory.

Cowboys Secondary vs. Caleb Williams:

Last weekend vs. the Giants, Russell Wilson scorched the Cowboys Secondary for 450 yards in their zone defense. The Secondary looked out of place and had a lot of busted coverages. Marr Efferblus will have to get the Secondary on track and also get pressure on Williams. The key will be to keep him in the pocket to gice the Secondary a chance to make some plays. Daron Bland will be out again for this game.

RB Javonte Williams vs. the Bears Secondary:

Javonte Williams has been a pleasant surprise for the Cowboys, in the running game this season. The jury was out on him this season, as no one expected him to be as consistent this season so far, as well as been the number one running back for the season. Last week vs . the Giants he scored a touchdown and rushed for 100 yards. That should bode well for the Cowboys rushing attack, as the Bears give up 148.5 yards a game. Look for Williams to run wild and free. Jaydon Blue who hasn’t played all season might be elevated to the roster as well this week.

Cedee Lamb and the Cowboys Wide Receivers vs. the Bears Secondary.

With key injuries to CB Jaylon Johnson as well as Tyrique Stevenson, their depth chart is thin. Except former Cowboy Nashon Wright to start. That could be a field day for Dak Presocott and the Cowboys Wideouts to have a great day. Dak should able to spread the ball out to Ceedee Lamb, George Pickens as well as Jake Ferguson who needs to be more consistent. This game might be his breakout. Kavonte Turpin who is nursing a neck injury but should play, will be a factor as well:

Fearless Prediction:

Look for the Cowboys to run and throw at will on the offensive side of the ball. The Cowboys will right the ship on the defensive side of the ball, as newly signed Javeon CLowney should make Caleb Williams day miserable and get a few sacks .

Final Score:Dallas Cowboys 37 Chicago Bears 17
