The Cincinnati Reds are promoting number 1 prospect Chase Burns on Tuesday to face the New York Yankees. The Reds placed Wade Miley in the IL with a flexor strain, so the depth this team once had is dissipating.

Chase Burns has 13 professional starts, 2 in Triple A Louisville. He’s 7-3 with a 1.77 ERA in those starts. He’s only walked 13 batters in 66 innings with 89 strikeouts. Hitters are only batting .167 against him.

Chase Burns will make his debut against the New York Yankees. The Yankees are 3-7 in their last 10 games.
