Those of you that know me or my situation know I haven’t been well mentally or physically the past few months, well I’m back and I’m also gonna look at some MLB players who are ready to bounce back as well (hopefully).
In real life baseball the Miami Marlins definitely need to see a healthy Sandy Alcantara and Eury Perez, and fantasy owners alike would love these two pitchers healthy.
Eury Perez will not be till late in the year most likely, but in keeper and dynasty leagues Eury Perez is a must own. A healthy Perez is a good thing, Perez has 108 putouts in 91 innings with a 3.15 ERA

Sandy Alcantara a former Cy Young winner in 2022 a league leading 228 innings in this day and age is amazing considering how managers coddle pitchers. His impressive 2022 stats include 207 K and 2.28 ERA his 2023 stats were solid as well with 184 IP and 151 K. Sidelined with Tommy John surgery in 2024, Alcantara is ready to go and said “I can’t wait to get out there in 2025 and pitch again”
Bounce Back Bat:
Minnesota Twins 3B Royce Lewis , is a player who was starting to look like the Twins’ new Byron Buxton, a lot of promise but never healthy. Royce Lewis is projected to hit .255 with 85 runs batted in. These are numbers we like to see from any position really, real life or fantasy.
This one is not so much a bounce back from injury scenario rather than a change of scenery. Not to mention he is in a much more potent lineup and one that is proven to be going in the right direction. Paul Goldschmidt Yankees 1B is going to be commented into a very powerful and hungry lineup. Yes this Goldie is an oldie now, but still at this age playing half his games in the “little league park” in the Bronx anybody’s numbers should improve you’d think as long as he’s healthy.
KEEP AN EYE ON PLAYERS:
Kristian Campbell, 2B, Red Sox. Alex Bregman has signed to the Red Sox and slotted into 2B spot “for now.” Bregman originally a SS will easily slide over to SS “once” Trevor Story misses time and that is likely, given his history. Campbell, the Red Sox second ranked prospect slashed .330/.439/.558 with 20 home runs with 14 stolen bases. Campbell has 20/20 written all over him for Boston.
The Chicago White Sox still suck but Sean Burke is a pitcher to keep and eye on. I realize his sample size is small 22 K in 19 IP and 1.42 ERA are great, should he keep his walks to a minimum, he should deliver a strong 2025 with numbers around 102 K over 90 IP ERA is looking to take a significant hike obviously and will be around 4.41 projected. The win totals are gonna be low as well projected at only 4 but this is due to run support and no offense. Remember, he does still take the mound for the White Sox.
Lucas Giolitto, Red Sox pitcher. Giolitto coming off Tommy John surgery, strikeouts alone is a good reason to keep an eye on this pitcher and pitchers in general really. Giolitto had 204 K in 184 IP in his last season before going under the knife. You might not want to draft him, but put him on your watch list.
Last player I’m gonna look at is what they call a dart throw, Jordan Beck from Colorado. The upside is there as far as his hit tools go, plus half his games are in Coors Field, yes there is some swing and miss in his game but realistically as long as he wins the starting job over Sam Hilliard which he should or even if its a call up due to injury Beck has the makings of a 20/20 guy with a .250-255 AVG, Beck hasn’t been selected in any drafts I’ve been in, but if you’re in a very deep league or your league is a 4 OF league with 2-4 Utility spots, like I say throw a dart in these deep leagues it can’t hurt to gamble this late in a draft.
