In the spirit of Christmas and giving what would it be like, if the Dallas Cowboys had $100 Million dollars to spend to improve this roster to compete with the rest of the league, instead of being the status quo and only improving in the draft.

Lets dream and see how this would work out.

First off Micah Parsons needs to be signed. That’s a no-brainer. His current contract according to espn.com will pay him 21.4 million in 2025, as he is still on his rookie contract. Currently the highest paid defensive player in the league is Edge rusher Nick Bosa with the 49ers who earns 34.5 million.

So with that said the Cowboys should, in the spirit of giving, hand out the big Christmas money and pay him $40 million a year to secure him for three or four years.

1) Micah Parsons: $40 million a year plus incentives.

Although Dak Prescott signed a massive contract this year, which pays him $60 million a year according to nfl.com which makes him a cowboy until 2028 the Cowboys should restructure the contract to make room to sign other players to bolster the roster.

2) Dak Prescott $35 million and restructure the rest of the contract with incentives based on productivity.

Apart from Ceedee Lamb the Cowboys don’t have a go to second tier wide receiver to scare defenses. As it has shown this year, teams have doubled Lamb and taken away the passing threat. There are plenty of options to choose from, with a few wide receivers in free agency. A standout like Deandre Hopkins from the Chiefs or Mike Williams from the Steelers would be a game changer and help Dak Prescott in the passing game.

3) Sign Deandre Hopkins or Mike Williams to a one or two year deal between $8-$10 million.

With the Offensive line in disarray, and with Zack Martin‘s status in the air, the Cowboys can sign a few offensive lineman at bargain basement prices . Martin might retire if his ankle doesn’t heal properly and the offensive line has been a sore spot until recently.

Sign Josh Myers from the Green Bay Packers or Ryan Neuzil from the Falcons as both of these players will come cheap. According to sportrac.com Neuzil Contract this year is $985,000 and Myers is 1.395 million from the Packers.

4) Sign either of these players to a two year contract at about $1.4 million per year which would solidify the offensive line.

5) Defensive Tackle: The Cowboys should resign Chauncey Golston or Osa Odighizuwa to their normal deal. They could be resigned to a deal worth $4 million a year unless they hit the payday in free agency. If that is the case the Cowboys should sign Sebatian Joseph who earns $4 million a year according to sportrac.com to a contract of $8 million a year.

Free Safety: As free safety was a sore spot on the Cowboys roster this year, with the exception of Donovan Wilson the Cowboys should go after James Bradberry. According to nfl.com he is on a three year contract which he signed in 2023 for $38 million a year. I am sure the Cowboys can find some wiggle room to up the anty.

6.: Sign James Bradberry to a a three year contract at $16 million a year to shore-up the safety position. As well as a backup safety such as Holland at $4 million a year.

Wow! !100M can buy quite a bit. But, seriously, do you think any of these moves are realistic? Jerry has money, the NFL has a cap, and fans can dream.
