We head to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ as the NY Jets welcome in the visiting LA Rams. This is normally a spot where I would look to take the home team, with a West Coast team coming to play an early game in the cold, but I can’t get behind the Jets. NY is coming off a win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but what also worries me is the Jets gave up 28 pts to Mac Jones. Now they’ll have to deal with Stafford and company who have a lot to play for.

After turning around their season and winning four straight, the Rams are in position to win the NFC West. San Francisco hasn’t been able to stop shooting themselves in the foot and never got going after McCaffrey went down. LA knows they can’t have a let down here in NY with divison foe Seattle having to face Minnesota later this afternoon. If the Vikings who are fighting for home field defeat Seattle and LA wins, the Rams would take a one game lead in the division.

The Rams have terrible numbers in cold weather games and we saw them struggle to get in the end zone in San Francisco, but LA is also coming off extra rest not playing since that Thursday matchup, and will find the end zone plenty of times today.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
