The injuries keep mounting for the Dallas Cowboys. With star quarterback Dak Prescott already sidelined for the season by a torn hamstring, now the Cowboys will have to finish the season, without All- pro guard Zack Martin with a bad ankle.

The latest injury set back for the Cowboys, who have gained momentum, with two victories in a row, that have got them back in the playoff race.
Cincinnatti visits Monday night, the second of three straight opponents with losing records, but the toughest opponent so far amongst team with losing records. Joe Burrow is playing at a MVP level despite his team, having a losing record.
Its next man up mentality for the Cowboys as all the backups and the offense, led by Cooper Rush will have to continue to play mistake free football, and make the big plays. The running game led by Rico Dowdle has seemed to find its groove.
On the defensive side of the ball, Micah Parsons, who is the heart and soul of this defense, keeps making big plays since his return from injury and it has rubbed off on his colleagues.
Joe Burrow is one of five QBs in NFL history with at least 30 touchdown passes and no more than five interceptions through 12 games. He enteres the week leading the league in passing yards (3,337), completions (302) and touchdowns (30), and he’s thrown just five picks.
Yet Burrow doesn’t even have half the number of victories of the others to put up those numbers in 12 games. Two of them, Aaron Rodgers with Green Bay in 2012 and Tom Brady with New England in 2007, were 12-0.
The Bengals have had lots of hard luck this season. But this is the NFL where you have to win the close games to be succesful.
Seven of the Bengals’ losses this season have been one-score games, and Cincinnati is the first NFL team to lose four games in a season in which it scored 33 points or more. The Bengals have averaged 30.3 points per game against teams with a .500 or better records, but they’re 0-7 in those games.
The defense has been a huge dissapointment this year. In last weeks lost to the Steelers, they gave up a season high 402 yards and Russell Wilson had a field day, throwing for 414 yards.
Demarvion Overshown continues to shine. The second year linebacker from Texas, kudos to another Longhorns defensive player shining on the big stage continues to impress. His 23 yard interception return off a Drew Lock interception, last week on Thanksgiving vs the Giants, might have been his coming out party. He missed his rookie season with a injury .
Overshown set up the flashy play with old-fashioned physical football, overpowering Devin Singletary when the running back tried to block him and ending up between the quarterback and his RB.
Final Analysis: This game will come down to, which team makes the big plays and doesn’t make costly mistakes. Look for Micah Parsons and the Dallas defense to set the tone early and force Joe Burrow to throw an interception. The Cowboys should have success running the ball against the Bengals defense and Cooper Rush will make a few big plays to Ceedee Lamb and Jake Ferguson, who returns this week from concussion protocol. And as always Kevonte Turpin is always due for a big return to make life easier for the offense.
Final Prediction: Dallas Cowboys 28 Cincinnati Bengals 17
