We head to Rocket Portage FieldHouse in Cleveland, OH as the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Boston Celtics. The Cavaliers started the season 15-0 before losing to the Celtics in Boston on November 19th. Boston got up 21 in the matchup before Cleveland battled back to lose by three 120-117. Since November 13th the Celtics have been the best team in the East winning seven straight games.

Cleveland still holding onto the 1st seed in the East, have dropped two straight both to Atlanta. The first loss came Wednesday November 27th and the second November 29th during the NBA Cup. Personally, I was shocked the Cavaliers loss game two, but now looking at the schedule it seems all their focus was on this matchup today.

It’s never a good idea to get in front of the Celtics especially with how well they’re playing and how efficient they can be offensively, but this point spread is telling me otherwise. A Boston team on a seven game winning streak, who are 9-1 on the road this season and has already beaten this Cleveland team is only a -1.5 favorite?

The Cavs are 10-1 at home and have had their minds on this matchup since losing to the Celtics two weeks ago. I’m rolling with Cleveland to get some revenge here and also prove Boston will have to get through them to win the East.

Official Pick: Cavs +1.5 -110

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
