The Cincinnati Reds have extended a qualifying offer to right handed pitcher Nick Martinez. Martinez, was the Reds’ best addition this past offseason and will earn his worth this offseason. After declining his $12mm player option, Martinez has 15 days to accept the offer of $21.05mm or elect free agency. Martinez finished 2024 with a 10-7 record with a 3.10 ERA and finished the season as one of the best starting pitchers in MLB with a 7-2 record with a 2.27 ERA, 61 strikeouts and just 9 walks in his last 15 games(11 starts).
