Sure there is still 10 more games left in the season but everyone around the Chicago Bears can feel the clock is severely and rapidly ticking on their season.

Not only was the Commanders loss soul crushing, it delivered a blow that the Bears might not recover from. Now they get the Arizona Cardinals in Arizona. The good thing is it is against a medicare Arizona team. The bad thing is that it is on the road. The Bears have lost 17 straight road games with the loss on Sunday in the Matt Eberflus Era.

Yes, 17 games.

Not just that, but if the Bears don’t win Sunday, their playoff chances drop from around 70% to 40%, and that is before they play any of their divisional opponents.

The Bears have no time to lose, and with Sundays contest looming, a chance to stack a couple wins before the dreaded gauntlet of divisional opponents happen.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
