We head to Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois as the Chicago Bears welcome the visiting LA Rams. The Bears return home after dropping two straight road games against the Texans and Colts. Both games were evenly contested with the Bears defense keeping them in the game. Chicago is 1-0 at home on the season defeating the Titans in week one, in a game they should’ve loss. They get a huge weapon back today in WR Keenan Allen to help rookie QB Caleb Williams.

LA is coming off a huge comeback win over division rival San Francisco. Trailing 24-14 late in the third the Rams were able to pull off a 27-24 victory. LA is extremely bang up missing multiple starters on the offensive line and of course being without Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. The Rams gave a lot in that comeback against SF and this could be an emotional let down spot for them this week.

Let’s also not forget West Coast teams playing early tend to have very slow starts and teams coming off facing the 49ers have a terrible record. In 2022 teams went 0-15 after facing SF. I personally took the Bears money line when the line was -2.5. With it moving up to three, for the best value well take the spread and worst case pray for a push.

Official Pick: Bears -3 -105 BetMGM

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
