After almost making a miraculous comeback vs the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday, but falling short, the Dallas Cowboys will try to get back to winning ways vs. the New York Giants in their first game vs an NFC Opponent this season.

Once again, the Dallas Defense looked lost, and out of place and showing no life and grit. It seemed as Micah Parsons‘ put it, “Everybody was trying to be superman.” Demarcus Lawrence echoed that buy saying “The Defense is playing like little league.”
The Cowboys need to figure it out, very fast but there is no better team to right the ship against, then the New York Giants. Stopping the run will be the key for the Cowboys. As well as getting off to a fast start offensively. As history shows, when the Cowboys fall behind early, as was the case vs. the Saints and Ravens, winning becomes a tall order.
Against the Ravens the Cowboys gave up a whopping 456 yards and trailed for most of the game, although they tried to rally, after falling behind 28-6 after three quarters, and Dak Prescott put the team on his shoulders, but it was a little too late, as they failed to get a key fourth down stop, and Baltimore ran out the clock.

This season, the Cowboys are 1st in the league in passing offense with 269.7 yards per contest. But on the other side of that coin, Dallas is 29th in rushing offense with 73.7 yards per game this season. Heads; The Cowboys are 5th in scoring offense as they average 25.7 points a night. Tails; Dallas stands 30th in the league in scoring defense as they give up an average of 29.7 points a contest.
The Giants got into the winning column on Sunday, beating the Cleveland Browns. The GMen led most of the game and hung on, near the end. The giants are not impressing anybody through the air, as they average a disappointing 189 yards on the air, and their running attack is dismal as well averaging 109 yards a game.
Final Analysis and Prediction:
Look for the Cowboys to right the ship vs the Giants and cruise to victory. Although the Giants got 8 sacks last week, and played well vs the Browns, look for the Cowboys to get it going through the air. Cedee Lamb has to be focused, and not have temper tantrums on the sideline, like last week.
The Cowboys should get their defensive going this week, as last week was a wake up call. This team is much better than, what they showed last week. Daniel Jones can be easily rattled, and the Cowboys have his number as usual.
Dak Prescott will have a huge day, as the Cowboys will get a few stops on defense, and cruise offensively.
Final Score: Dallas Cowboys 31 New York Giants: 21
