Week 3 of the NFL season is here, and I’m not gonna lie. It was hard to pick a Top 3 this week.
Last week gave us some upsets, some close games and a wild and thrilling ending to Monday Night Football.
How or will Week 3 match on come close to it?
Let’s jump right into it.
Baltimore Ravens (0-2) at Dallas Cowboys (1-1)
Game starts at 4:25 PM (EST) on FOX.

It’s crazy to see that the Baltimore Ravens are winless and sitting in last place in the AFC North. The offensive line has struggled to do much of anything, whether it be run or pass blocking. Because of that, the “Derrick Henry Experiment” hasn’t gotten off to a good start. Only rushing for 130 yards on 31 carries so far. Lamar Jackson only 3 total TD’s as well (2 passing and 1 rushing). The defense hasn’t been good but hasn’t been terrible either.
Both Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb got p-a-i-d this offseason. With both players signing over $100 million dollar contracts, the return on investment hasn’t been there through 2 games so far. Dak has thrown only 2 TDs, as well as 2 INTs. CeeDee has 9 catches for 151 yards and 1 TD. Just like the Ravens, the Cowboys offensive line can’t do squat. Zeke Elliott has lost a step. The defense has all the pieces in place to be elite this season, but they got carved up last week.
Prediction – Both teams are coming off of embarrassing losses. The Cowboys are usually a guaranteed win when playing at home, but they’ve lost their last 2 straight games at AT&T Stadium. It’s not going to get to 3. I’m picking The Cowboys to win a close game 23-21.
Kansas City Chiefs (2-0) at Atlanta Falcons (1-1).
Game starts at 8:20 PM (EST) on NBC and Peacock.

It’s the Chiefs. They have Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, and for the love of everything, HOW does Travis Kelce continue to get wide open late in games?!?! Watching this team pull out wins, is fun and frustrating to see as a fan. That defense has Chris Jones and George Karlaftis on the defensive line, and they are one of the top tandems in the league. Let’s be honest here folks, everyone besides Chiefs Nation, is watching to see them lose.
Can Kirk Cousins do it again? He’s now won 4 out of his last 5 MNF games. Can he go toe to toe, against the best quarterback in the league? They have on the best young back in Bijan Robinson, 32 carries for 165 yards. This Falcons defense has played well enough so far. The team invested heavily, and they need it to start improving as the season gets harder after this.
Prediction – With starting running back Isiah Pacheco out for 6-8 weeks, it hurts what KC has been doing so far. Ried will use Carson Steele more, but he won’t be as effective. As of now, the spread is at 3.5 points. Cousins and Robinson will keep in close, but the Chiefs will be too much and win 27-23.
Washington Commanders (1-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (0-2).
Game starts at 8:15 PM (EST) on ABC and ESPN+.

That’s right, I said it!!!
Cincinnati MUST win this game. The NFL could not have made the schedule any easier for Joe Burrow to start the season. Yet somehow, the Bengals just can’t seem to win in September. Jamar Chase is still trying to get into football shape after sitting out and showing up just before the season. The offense has too many weapons and the defense has the pieces in place. They shouldn’t be starting out this badly every year.
Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels is running and throwing for his life. He has 410 yards passing and 132 rushing. Running back Brian Robinson Jr is averaging 6.0 YPC on his 29 carries. Somehow, someway, that defense needs to find a way to start making some play to help their young quarterback.
Prediction – Anything can happen, but I don’t see Washington winning this game. I’m taking the Bengals to get their first win of the season, at home, 27-23.
Here is the best of Week 2 in NFL.
