While we are all excited for Week 2 in the NFL with a full slate of games, there is still money to be made on the diamond. We head to Chase Field in Arizona for the final game of this three game series between the Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks. Milwaukee has won three straight and put up 15 runs yesterday to lead this series 2-0. With an 11 game lead in the NL Central, Milwaukee has the biggest division lead in baseball.

The Diamondbacks are in a battle for the NL Wild Card currently holding onto the second spot t with a one game lead over Atlanta. Arizona will hand the ball to Zach Gallen to try and end their current two game losing streak and avoid getting swept at home. Gallen has been lights out his last two starts, only allowing two hits and zero earned runs over 11IP. Toeing the rubber for Milwaukee will be September call up DL Hall who has pitched well in his two appearances so far with the big league club. Hall has yet to surrender a run in just over five innings of work.

Usually when you score eight runs you win, but the problem yesterday was Arizona gave up 15. I expect the offense to continue to hit, but for Gallen to give the pitching staff a much needed jolt to stop the bleeding. Well look to get in and get out and take Arizona early.
