Honor Among Wrestling held the second all women’s event, Uninvited II, at the Bettendorf Community Center in Bettendorf Iowa on September 15th. The show fell victim to the card subject to change bug, but still put on a show.
Kitsune vs Mackenzie Morgan
Our opener started out with a handshake. Sportsmanship! From there, it was all back and forth action as McKenzie looked to prove something at the expense of Kitsune. The kinetic offense of McKenzie worked, as she put away her opponent with a modified zig zag to get the victory.

Arie Alexander vs Regan Lydale Womans Legacy title Match
Lydale is looking to further cement her legacy as the Woman’s Legacy champion and before her is a traveler in the for of Alexander. The ref showed a lot of leniency, or as I call it, bias, by following the competitors outside as they brawled around the crowd. Alexander showed her experience, by controlling most of the match, but even her German suplex was not enough to win the championship. Lydale would retain the championship after a pounce and a pumphandle slam.

Holidead vs Kelsey Magnolia
Holidead was not here to play. That is a lie. She planned to have a bit of sadistic fun with Magnolia. It showed during the match, as Holidead’s mouth rarely shut during the match. She jaw-jacked with the crowd and her opponent. Though Magnolia did get in a modicum of revenge as they brawled into the crowd and Magnolia hit several chops with Holidead in the seats. Unfortunately, this would be about the only offense Magnolia would sustain before being put away with Darkness Falls.
After intermission, Salem Wolfe and his orderly came out to let us know that HAW returns to the Betterndorf Community Center and with it will be his Asylum.

Leslie Michelle vs Kay Carter
Both women are veteran’s of the Midwest independent scene and looking to break into the championship rankings. Whereas Carter was using the crowd’s support to inspire her, Michelle was not looking to make friends. It was a back-and-forth affair with neither competitor keeping the advantage for long. However, Michelle finally hit the hammerlock DDT to put away Carter.

Lili “La Pescadita” Ruiz vs J.C. w/Salem Wolfe & the Orderly vs. Sadie Belle Reina’s title Match
We have triple threat rules in the main event. This played well into the Asylum’s plan, as there were no DQ. Wolfe ran plenty of interference, which ran afoul of the Texan Belle. The action was all over, with J.C. staying on the offense for the most time. Despite Wolfe saving the match for J.C. several times, she accidently took out Wolfe and the Orderly with a dive to the floor. With the Asylum out of the picture, Belle dropped the champ with an avalanche facebuster to become the new Reina’s Champion!
With that the show ended. It was a solid show that thoroughly entertained the crowd, the short run time was a detriment, but with several substitutions, HAW had to make the best of an unpleasant situation. Card subject to change is an old wrestling adage. That being said, it was a show well worth your money.
