Week 2 of the NFL season is very quickly upon us.
There are some intriguing storylines in Week 2. Such as, just how badly will Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis stink up the place?
Will Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson still play like crap most of the game, but make two or three good plays, that give the staff “hope”?
Will rookie quarterback Caleb Williams actually throw for more than 100 yards for the first time?
Will Kyler Murray actually throw the football to first round pick, Marvin Harrison Jr when he’s open?
With 16 games on the schedule, here are the Top 3 games of the week.
Buffalo Bills (1-0) at Miami Dolphins (1-0).
Game starts at 8:15 PM (EST) on Amazon Prime Video.
Tua Tagovailoa threw for over 300 yards and receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle both went over 100 yards receiving as well. The high playing passing offense will take on a Buffalo pass defense that lost a hellava lot in the offseason and in flux. The Dolphins defensive backfield will hope to lockdown a young Bills wide receiver room and give their pass rushers a chance to get pressure. They had 3 sacks in Week 1.
Josh Allen is basically doing everything on his own on offense. They need to get the running game going. Let running back James Cook win the time of possession. Defensive end Gregory Rousseau had 3 sacks in their win on Sunday. Last year’s second round pick LB Dorian Williams needs to continue to show he’s the future leader on defense.
Prediction – The Bills have won 3 straight and are 8-1 overall in this decade. Make that 8-2 after Sunday though. The Dolphins pull away in the 2nd half, winning 35-30.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) at Detroit Lions (1-0).
Game starts at 1:00 PM (EST) on FOX.

The Lions are hoping that the Goff and wide receiver Jameson Williams continue to have the connection they did on Sunday Night. Running back David Montgomery almost had 100 yards rushing, and that’s splitting carries with multiple use back Jahmyr Gibbs. The defense will look to get more pressure this week and get into Baker’s mind.
Baker Mayfield threw for 4 touchdowns and played very well on Sunday. The Buccaneers will need to have him continue making good decisions. The running game is still a problem, but they hope Bucky Irving will fix that. He averaged 6.9 YPC on Sunday. Their defense will need to step up and match the energy that the Lions bring on the field.
Prediction – This is a rematch of last season’s divisional playoff game in Detroit. Its’s going to go similar. Detroit will pull away in the fourth quarter. 31-24.
Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) vs Kansas City Chiefs (1-0).
Game starts at 4:25 PM (EST) on CBS.

Patrick Mahomes targeted wide receiver Rashee Rice 9 times, the most of anybody. He caught 7 of them, for 103 yards. Rookie receiver Xaiver Worthy had a receiving and rushing touchdown. They’re hoping he’ll be the explosive playmaker for the next few years. The defense will continue to get pressure, but hope for more sacks, as they missed a few chances on Sunday.
Joe Burrow always starts slow, but he’s always given the Chiefs trouble. The fact of the matter is that the Bengals need the running game to get going. I was quite high on running back Chase Brown coming out last season. The offensive line needs to block better as well, otherwise it’ll be a long day. The defense is led by 2 of the best linebackers in the game Germaine Pratt and Logan Wilson.
Prediction – I have a feeling that this game is going to be ugly. Chiefs win big 38-23.
