The Price is Right, Press Your Luck, Lets Make a Deal, Deal or No Deal even Wheel Of Fortune all great gameshows and basically in my first fantasy football article, I am going to do a version of Lets Make a Deal. I remember the big sparkly doors on Lets Make a Deal. I am gonna take a shot at door #3. Being 3rd pick is a good spot to start. Based on my last draft I did, I was drafting in the 3rd spot. This was a standard format: QB, 2WR, 2RB, TE, WR/RB/TE, K AND DEF. I’ll let you know now myself and you as well should draft a kicker last. I didn’t add a kicker in the article because everyone knows any kicker will do 😉
With my first overall pick from the 3rd slot, I selected Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson. Last season Robinson ran for 976 yards with 8TDs four in the air and four rushing.

With my next selection I went with another Atlanta Falcons player, I selected wide receiver Drake London. London is intriguing to me this early but i like what other writers wrote, he is the go to guy, Drake was targeted 110 times last season with 905 yards with just 2 TDs, this is where I like London early, a few writers have projected London surpass 1,100 yards and are saying he will score 7-9 TDs.
This pick I selected my Quarterback early, I say early because I was the first to reach this early for a QB, I selected Jalen Hurts from the Eagles. From researching articles and doing some mock drafts the QBs were being selected 5th round and beyond, unless your name was Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Jalen Hurts. Jalen Hurts threw for 23 TDs and and 3823 yards, Hurts has some wheels on him too, Jalen ran for 605 yards with 15 rushing touchdowns.

Back to the RBs with my next pick I selected De’Von Archane from Miami. Achane rushed 103 times for 800 yards for 8 touchdowns, De’von is very good receiving as well he caught 27 passes for 197 yards last year.

Next man up I refused to wait much longer for a good TE. I selected George Kittle from the 49ers. Kittle has been a top 5 TE for years and with QB Brock Purdy and his pass heavy game. What’s not to like in this pick? George Kittle caught 65 passes for 1,020 yards and scored 6 TDs last season.

My second WR is the Bengals’ Tee Higgins, Higgins is healthy after an injury plagued campaign last year. Tee Higgins also playing in a contract year has lots to prove and being a WR2 Higgins hasn’t passes 100 targets in his career yet, speaking of health, we need QB Joe Burrow to remain healthy here to help Higgins reach 100 targets and more than 5 TDs. Higgins is projected to double his 4 TDs and his yardage last season was 652, Higgins is projected to have 1085 yards.
I selected my flex position now by adding a running back, I grabbed Tyjae Spears of the Tennessee Titans. With this pick, I believe Spears does everything good, i want reliability here, actually my goal usually is find a good healthy balance literally. If they’re playing most likely they’re doing something productive. Tyjae’s season was consistent and balanced. Spears scored 2 TDs with his running and received a TD as well 453 yards running and 385 yards receiving. I along with some other people believe Spears is better than Tony Pollard and will tear it up this year, projections are looking like he will run for 587 yards and be thrown to a total of 45 times for 324 yards scoring 5-6 TDs.
