The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are known for working and deceiving their foes through the shadows. For General Manager Ryan Poles and the Chicago Bears they look to do the same.

News broke out late Tuesday evening that the Bears and DJ Moore had agreed on a massive 4 year $110 million dollar extension that added on top of the 2 years that Moore had left on his original contract. That means Moore is tied to Chicago through the year 2029. But most importantly, it means he will be with the Bears through Quarterback Caleb Williams rookie contract.
Ryan Poles has now extended 3 crucial homegrown players in the past year. He got Cole Kmet locked up first, than Jaylon Johnson, and now with Moore that’s 3 cornerstone pieces that are all tied for the next 3 years at least and what it signals to players is if you play as your asked and excel, Poles will reward you.

Moore caught 96 passes for 1364 yards and 8 TDs. He firmly established himself as Chicago’s #1 WR and despite additions of veteran Keenan Allen and rookie Rome Odunze the Bears with this contract has said that Moore is a key locker room leader and Chicago’s true #1 target.
