In a move that was a pleasant surprise, the Cincinnati Bengals announced that their 4th rookie tight end and Fairfield, OH native Erick All passed his physical and has been cleared for practice and will be participating in the Bengals training camp for the upcoming season. This is a move that came sooner than expected as All was recovering from an ACL injury he suffered in his senior season at Iowa.

All (6′ 4″ 250 lbs) was selected in the 4th round (115th overall) by the Bengals to be another weapon for a recovering Joe Burrow to help. A fluid athlete with great size, All  looks to make an impact on a roster that does have solid depth at the TE position, which includes free agent signing Mike Gesecki

The expectation was he was going to be ready by October, but All began his road to recovery immediately after he suffered the injury late October, and a video surfaced with him running routes and making cuts as he worked very diligently to get to this point to fulfill his dream of playing on an NFL roster. He will be a very good fit for what the Bengals want to do, should he stay healthy.

What a better place for this to happen than for his own hometown team, which is about a 30-minute drive south of Fairfield, Ohio.
