After watching the Raw on the 22nd of July I am going to climb the ropes, motion to the crowd, and give you some Thursday Turnbuckle Takes!
I get the feeling that in an alternate universe Triple H never transitioned from the Hunter Hearst Hemsley persona and he became the Ring General but I guess we will never know.

Explosive intro, kind of a blurred lines situation on the Damian Priest/Gunther rivalry. Are they both heels? One is more heel than the other? Or are they going to keep on trying to build on a storyline based on rich vs poor? They need to find a stronger glue, unless it’s just a transitional match to change champions? We still have one Raw left till Summerslam, let’s see how they finishing piecing this up together. But physical wise it’s great! The performance between these two superstars is one for the ages. And the way they kicked off the show? THIS IS AWESOME!

Ilja Dragunov vs Bron Breakker
Three words. THIS IS AWESOME! Great performance by both of these guys. Goes to show you that the future of the business is in good hands. Without as much promos or exchange of words, when two guys in the ring get more than once the chant of “this is awesome” in a match, you know it’s a banger. The way they were all over the squared circle, slamming, supplexing, but also flying and being technical goes to show you that this next generation of superstars are on a different level of athletic performance. Now on the results, the match was great but the execution of the ending was not, in fact, it was underwhelming. Bron won because Ilja wasn’t able to continue, goes up to Sami for the IC on Summerslam, good match up, but can’t shake the feeling that they are overusing the “Sami is an underdog” bit, but let’s wait for next Monday Night Raw and how it develops.

Judgment Day
The judgment day feels every day more apart, in their promos and their attitude. I’m guessing they’re gonna get a shake up post Summerslam.

What’s next for Maxxine Dupri?
She was really getting better at her in ring performance. And she has potential for better storylines than the other superstars they are pushing. Don’t like the way she has Been relegated to a supporting character role. Loved, loved, loved, the promo between Seth, Punk and Drew. It had everything in it physicality, drama, mic performance and pop. Never saw it coming that Seth would be the guest referee. It’s gonna be a banger, and finally we get to see CM Punk in the ring again.

Wyatt Sicks and Chad Gable
A lot of silence and speculation, building up to be a great not so conventional storyline. The physicality against the supernatural. But are we getting something for Summerslam? Or are they going to push it till the next PLE?

MAMI/DOM/LIV
Damn, I’m Mexican and I know novelas, and WWE has been learning a thing or two from watching Mexican television. The way they are upping the ante week after week between them is awesome. You can actually feel the tension between all three. But I’m getting a feeling that somehow Daddy Dom is going to screw Mami up on the hottest party of the Summer. And trust me those insults that Dom sent Livs ways really marked the return of the attitude era. (At least on the Spanish speaking countries).
