Bengals Announce Two Signings

The Cincinnati Bengals have announced the signings of two players this week, C Ted Karras and DT Kris Jenkins, Jr.

First, they announced they extended the contract of starting center Ted Karras through the 2025 season. Karras, well-known and loved in the Cincinnati community for his “Cincy Hat,” has started all 36 games for the Bengals since he signed as a free agent back in 2022 (including the postseason).  He hopes to continue to provide protection for Joe Burrow, who is coming back from injury, at the starting center position for the next two seasons.

Next, they announced the signings of their 2nd round draft pick (49th overall) Kris Jenkins, Jr.  The Bengals are hoping that he will provide a boost for a defense that was near the bottom in the league in virtually every major statistical category,  including stopping the run, where they were atrocious.

Good day for the Bengals organization to sign two key pieces as they hope to get a playoff spot in the upcoming 2024 NFL season.
