Tony Stewart addressed his numerous employees that the race team that he and Gene Haas Co-Own is closing after the 2024 NASCAR Season.

There had been rumblings up to this point that the team was considering selling 1, 2 or even all 4 charters.

Stewart  Haas was formed in 2009 and since than has accumulated 69 wins, 2 Championships (2011, 2014). They also won the most previous Xfinity Series championship with Cole Custer.

It is unclear what happens exactly to their 4 charters but 23XI, Trackhouse, Front Row are the teams looking at possible expansion with 1 charter for each. The 4th remains to be seen.
