The Cleveland Browns 2024-25 NFL Schedule was released on NFL Network Wednesday night.
The NFL rewarded the Browns success last season, by giving them THE HARDEST schedule this season, via strength of schedule.
Cleveland was given not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR “prime time” games.
Week 12 on Thursday Night Football at home against our most hated rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Then 11 days later, the Browns play their Week 13 game at the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.
Week 16 has the Browns once again, on Thursday Night Football, this time they play right down I-71 in Cincinnati, against the Bengals.
In a repeat, the Browns then play the very next week, Week 17 in prime time. This time its Sunday Night Football in America, in Cleveland against the Miami Dolphins.
The Cleveland Browns open their 2024-25 season with a big time, national televised game against the Dallas Cowboys on FOX at 4:25 PM. This game is marked on a lot of people’s calendars because it will be the broadcasting debut of Tom Brady.
The Browns play the entire NFC East Division within the first six weeks of the season. They welcome the New York Giants in Week 3, then play at Washington in Week 5 and follow that up by playing the Philadelphia Eagles, in Philly on Week 6.
The all important “bye week” for the Browns falls almost at the midway point of the season. Cleveland gets their rest on Week 10 of the season.
The longest away stretch for Cleveland is only 3 games. At Las Vegas, Washington and Philadelphia, and it’s early in the season.
The longest home stretch for the Browns is 3 games as well. Cincinnati, Baltimore and Los Angeles Chargers in the early part of the season.
Overall, it’s a very well-balanced schedule when it comes to travel and the home-away split.
The Browns must hold serve early in the season, while All-Pro running back Nick Chubb continues to recover from his brutal knee injury suffered last season.
QB Deshaun Watson has to play better. Cleveland went out and got another weapon at WR in Jerry Juedy, to go along with Pro-Bowl WR Amari Cooper and Pro-Bowl TE David Njoku.
The Browns boast arguably the best offensive line in the entire league, so there are no more excuses for Watson anymore.
