In a swift move that has the boxing world buzzing, Jermall Charlo has been stripped of his WBC middleweight title after a series of unfortunate events.

The WBC has elevated interim champion Carlos Adames to full champion status following Charlo’s arrest for driving while intoxicated, fleeing the scene of an accident, and eluding police. This decision comes after a whopping 1,053 days without defending his title.
The WBC has expressed its intention to work closely with PBC to address Charlo’s needs at this time. As the boxing community reacts to this unexpected turn of events, fans and experts alike are left wondering what the future holds for both Charlo and Adames in the middleweight division.
