We got back in the win column last week with a 2T parlay. We are heading back to the well this week to try and put some money in the account. We first head to Nationals Park in Washington, DC for the rubber game between the visiting Houston Astros and the Washington Nationals.
Houston grabbed game one with the return of Justin Verlander on the mound 5-3. Verlander was solid pitching six innings and allowing two runs. Saturday the Astros came back from 2-1 deficit, but could’t close the door in the 9th as Jesse Winker hit a two run single to tie the game, which eventually lead to a Nationals win in the bottom of the 10th.
Houston has gotten off to a slow start out the gate with their pitching ranking 29th in ERA and 28th in K’s per 9 innings. They do get their ace on the mound Cristian Javier who is 2-0 with 1.54 ERA. Taking the rubber for the Nats will be Mitchell Parker making his second big league start. Currently in last place in the AL West, after blowing yesterdays come back with Javier on the mound these are games the Astros can’t afford to lose.

For the second leg of our parlay we head to the hardwood for round one of the NBA Playoffs. #1 seed OKC welcomes in the New Orleans Pelicans.
A lot of people have doubt about how far the Thunder can go because of their youth and experience. The Pelicans are lucky to be here winning the play in game against the Kings who’ve they beat six straight times. I expect the Paycom Center to be rocking as the Thunder haven’t hosted a playoff game since the 2019-2020 season. Even though it’s a regular season award SGA is still going to try and prove his worth for MVP.

Full disclaimer writing the final paragraph of this article Cristian Javier has been scratched due to a neck injury. My money is already place, so best us of luck and fingers crossed.
