The Cleveland Browns have signed former 1st round draft pick OL Germain Ifedi.

Ifedi was the 31st pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks out of Texas A&M University.

He played for Seattle from 2016-2019, before moving on and playing with the Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, and last season with the Buffalo Bills.

The 6’5″, 325 lbs offensive lineman has played in 102 games with 83 starts. 59 of them at right tackle and 24 of them at right guard, showing his versatility on the right side of the OL.

This move adds some much needed starting depth along the Browns offensive line. The Browns were decimated with injuries along the line, to the point where they started their 5th and 6th string offensive tackles in the Wildcard Round Playoff game against the Houston Texans.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
