According to multiple sources, including ESPN Senior Insider Adam Schefter, the Cleveland Browns are hiring former NFL Coach of the Year Mike Vrabel to fill the role as a Coaching and Personnel Consultant.

Vrabel was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans for 6 seasons, finishing with a record of 54-45. He had a record of 2-3 in the playoffs.

Vrabel was the NFL Coach of the Year for the 21-22 season when he led the Titans to a 12-4 record and the #1 seed in the AFC Playoffs.

Vrabel started his coaching career at Ohio State where he was the linebackers coach in 2011, before becoming the defensive line coach from 2012 and 2013, before moving to the NFL.

It’s a homecoming for Mike, as he grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, which is only 34 miles south of Cleveland.

Vrabel is one of the most respected and highly regarded coaches in the NFL, so this is a major score for the Browns.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
