According to ESPN Senior Analyst/ NFL insider Adam Schefter and other sources, the Cleveland Browns have traded a 5th Round and 6th Round pick to the Denver Broncos, for WR Jerry Jeudy.
The Browns and Broncos were close to a deal at the trade deadline last season, but it fell apart in the final hours.
Jerry Jeudy was drafted by the Denver Broncos with the 15th pick of the 1st Round, in the 2020 NFL Draft, out of the University of Alabama.
He was the 2nd WR picked in behind college teammate Henry Ruggs and taken before receivers CeeDee Lamb, Jalen Reagor, Justin Jefferson, and Brandon Aiyuk, in what has become an incredible WR draft class.
The 6’1″, 193 lbs, wide receiver is entering the 5th and final year of his rookie contract.
Jeudy is scheduled to make $12,987,000 in the 2024 season.
He had 54 receptions, for 758 yards with 2 TDs in 16 games for the Broncos.
For his career, Jeudy has 211 receptions, for 3,053 yards with 11 TDs in 57 games.
Jeudy will join WR’s Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore and Cedric Tillman on the Browns roster.
