Cleveland Browns General Manager Andrew Berry announced today at the NFL Combine, that the Browns will be hosting joint practices in Berea, Ohio with the Minnesota Vikings.

He also said that they will be going back to the Greenbriar for 9 to 10 days of training camp again.

While no dates have been announced as of yet, this is something to keep an eye on, as we get into the summer.

Berry also spoke on Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. Confirming that Watson will begin the throwing portion of his rehab next month.

Berry announced that the Browns and other clubs are proposing a rule change, that would move the NFL Trade Deadline back. essentially making the last day of the deadline later in the season. The proposed change would be two weeks later, which would be after Week 10 of the regular season.

Berry touched on how the other major sports leagues around the country have their deadlines more than halfway through the season. Meanwhile the NFL has theirs before the halfway point.

The NFL Combine live drills starts on Thursday, February 29th, at 3 PM on NFL Network.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
