Dick Murdoch (1995) Dick Murdoch was a holdover from yesteryear. He was a big star in the NWA and even held the WWF Tag Team Championship with Adrian Adonis. By this time though, Murdoch had not been fully relevant in the professional wrestling scene in a number of years and had not been seen on WWF television in nearly ten years at this point.

At best, he may have been good for a nostalgia pop, but I’m not entirely sure that the fans that watched the Rumble were the same ones that would be cheering for a random Dick Murdoch appearance.
