On Tuesday evening, Major League Baseball announced their first ballot Hall of Famers for the Class of 2024.
Three players were announced for the Class of 2024; Adrián Beltré, Joe Mauer, and Todd Helton.
Adrián Beltré played baseball for 21 years with the Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Boston Red Sox.
Beltré batted .286/.339/.480 , had 3,166 hits, 477 homers, and 1,707 RBIs, and had 636 doubles throughout 2,933 games. He was also a four time All-Star, a five time Gold Glove winner, and finished second in the NL MVP voting in 2004, behind Barry Bonds.
Joe Mauer played for 15 years , all of them being with the Minnesota Twins.
Mauer batted .306/.388/.439, had 2,123 hits, 143 homers, 923 RBIs, and 428 doubles, throughout 1,858 games. Mauer was a six time All-Star, along with winning the MVP during the 2009 season.
Todd Helton played for 17 years, all of his time being spent with the Colorado Rockies.
Helton batted .316/.414/.539, had 2,519 hits, 369 homers, 1,406 RBIs, 592 doubles, throughout 2,247 games. Helton was a five time All-Star, during the 1998 season he finished second in voting for NL Rookie of the Year, losing to Kerry Wood.
