New York—That’s Right, you read correctly, the New York Knicks are on a roll! Since the Arrival of OG Anunoby the Knicks have not just been winning, but dominating opponents.

Anunoby dropped 23 points, marking his highest point total since joining New York. The Knicks secured their fifth consecutive win with a 112-84 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night, coinciding with his inclusion in the lineup.

“He’s made a great contribution, not just with defense, but moving without the ball, getting the ball up the floor fast, his shot-making, and it’s only going to get better as we go,” Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said.

In the first quarter, Anunoby netted 16 points, contributing to the Knicks’ 19-point lead, which later expanded to 39 by the third quarter. During this period, OG showcased impressive accuracy, going 6 for 7 overall and hitting 4 of 5 shots from beyond the 3-point arc. He might have hit his season-high 29 points, but sat for a lot of the second half.

“I don’t know what I was thinking, but I just know we have a great team and we’re getting better and better each game,” Anunoby said.

Julius Randle contributed 20 points, eight assists, and seven rebounds to the Knicks’ performance. With this win, they took a half a game lead of Miami, Indiana, and Cleveland, securing the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference with a record. Additionally,

Quentin Grimes tallied 17 points, while reserve guard Miles McBride chipped in with 16.The Knicks outscored the trailblazers 25-11 on fast-break points.

New York made it rain all night long. Hitting 18 3-point shots, as they cruised to an easy win at home.

Next up, the Knicks travel to Dallas on Thursday to face the Mavericks.
