Washington— Coming off a dominant win against the Philadelphia Friday night, the New York Knicks(21-15) look to extend their winning streak.

Julius Randle notched 39 points, while Jalen Brunson contributed 33 as the New York Knicks won their fourth straight. They defeated the Washington Wizards(6-29) 121-105 on Saturday night.

New York is 14-1 against teams that have losing records this season.

The Wizards turned the ball over 20 times, and the Knicks capitalized, scoring 23 points off second chance opportunities. Many of those points came from Isaiah Hartenstein’s 19 rebounds today.

Starting the second half with vigor, the Wizards (6-29) narrowed the gap, reducing the lead to 74-69 with 5:23 remaining in the third quarter. Avdija and Kuzma played a pivotal role, contributing a combined 19 points.

In the third quarter, Thibodeau was forced to three timeouts and ripped his team when Washington narrowed the lead to five points.

“I can’t repeat it. I can’t,” Brunson said when asked what Thibodeau told the team. “Basically, be better.”

To close out the 3rd quarter Randle added 8 points to 17-6 run by the Knicks, and they never looked back.

“Don’t play with your food,” Randle said. “Take care of what you’re supposed to take care of and just keep improving. The basketball gods got a funny way of rewarding you or humbling you. We just try to approach every game the right way.”

Next up the Knicks host the Trailblazers on Tuesday evening at the Garden.
