On Thursday afternoon, just a few days after mutually parting ways with the New York Jets, the Baltimore Ravens signed a new running back.
The Ravens signed Dalvin Cook for the NFL Playoffs according to Cook’s agency.
Not only did Cook manage to get paid while being a backup essentially to Breece Hall, he now gets an opportunity to win a Super Bowl with a team that is struggling at the running back position.
To take a look at Cook’s 2023 numbers (obviously we know they aren’t great) has manged 67 rushing attempts for 214 rushing yards, and 15 receptions for 78 receiving yards.
If we were to look at Cook’s statistics throughout his seven year NFL career between the Jets and Minnesota Vikings….. 73 games started, 1349 rushing attempts for 6207 yards rushing, 47 rushing TDs, averaging roughly 70.5 rushing yards per game.
Overall a signing if you are a Ravens fan that you can’t hate too much at the end of the day.
