This upcoming Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens host the Miami Dolphins, with the possibility of securing the number one seed in the AFC.

The Ravens are planning on honoring Ray Rice, as their legend of the game, for Sunday’s matchup, which has lead to some uproar by football fans.

Due to the past behavior of Ray Rice, the outrage is regarding why the team would welcome him back following his previous actions?

Ray Rice has spoken out regarding his incident in the past and had the following to say to the Ravens team website:

“I truly understand why I was let go and why so many hearts changed. But hopefully people can see where I’m at now. They say people can change, right? I am not the same person I was 10-12 years ago. That’s just not who I am. Every time I stepped on the field, I gave it my all. But I couldn’t say the same for life. Now I’m trying to be the best version of me.”

Do you believe that it is alright for the Ravens to bring back someone like Ray Rice? Is this a forgive and forget situation?

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
