Sean’s Top 3 Games For Week 17.

Week 16 of the NFL season answered some questions.

For the first time since 1993, the Detroit Lions are division winners. They are guaranteed to have at least one home playoff game.

Dallas can’t beat good teams on the road. They’re 3-5 away from home.

Despite losing 4 straight games, Jacksonville is still leading the AFC South and could end up hosting a home playoff game (if they end up winning the division).

Tampa Bay has won 4 straight games, and looking like a team that nobody would want to see in the Wildcard.

Kansas City has lost 3 out of the last 4 games, and are looking very beatable with their offense struggling to get points and consistency.

Baltimore put a beatdown on San Francisco, and might just be the best team in the NFL.

Week 17 will continue to clear up the playoff picture, with a few teams able to clinch spots in the postseason and division titles.

This was an extremely hard week to pick. There are many great games to choose from.

So here we go. HERE are the Top 3 Games for Week 17.

Game One.

Miami Dolphins (11-4) at Baltimore Ravens (12-3).
Game starts at 1:00 PM (EST) on CBS.

This game could very well determine who ends up with the #1 seed in the AFC. Both teams have Top-ranked offenses. The Dolphins, who have the first ranked offense in the league are led by WR Tyreek Hill and QB Tua Tagovailoa, and are averaging 31.5 points per game. The Ravens are ranked fourth, and are led by QB Lamar Jackson, averaging 27.8 points per game.

My Prediction – With both teams having playmakers in the MVP conversation, this should be a high-scoring affair.

Ravens win 31-27.

Game Two.

Detroit Lions (11-4) at Dallas Cowboys (10-5).
Game starts on Saturday Night at 8:15 PM (EST) on ABC.

These are two teams that have already clinched playoff spots. They also happen to be coming off completely opposite emotions from last week.

The Lions clinched the division and are riding a high, 30 years in the making. The Cowboys are coming off back-to-back embarrassing losses on the road.

Like the previous game, both these teams have Top 5 ranked offenses in the league. Dallas is ranked 3rd and Detroit is ranked 5th.

My Prediction – The Cowboys are an undefeated 7-0 at home this season, and the Lions are 6-2 on the road.

Cowboys win 27-23.

Game Three.

Cincinnati Bengals (8-7) at Kansas City Chiefs (9-6).
Game starts at 4:25 PM (EST) on CBS.

The Bengals are fighting for their playoff lives. They currently have a 13% chance to make the playoffs. Cincinnati’s loss to Pittsburgh last week brought them back down to earth. DE Trey Hendrickson set a franchise record with 16 sacks on the season.

The Chiefs offense is struggling. The wide receivers can’t catch, and they can’t stop committing stupid penalties. Their defense has picked up the slack though. DE George Karlaftis and DT Chris Jones, are both closing in on 10 sacks each this season.

My Prediction – This is simple. Who do you trust more…. Patrick Mahomes or Jake Browning?

Chiefs win 28-23.
