The day is almost over, but we still got a SnoozeYouLose article play for you. After dropping last week’s play, we move to 11-5 in our last sixteen article plays. This week we head to the ice as the Golden Knights welcome in the Ottawa Senators.

The Golden Knights are off to an unbelievable start to begin the season with a 20-6-5 record leading the Western Conference. Vegas has also been a tough place to play for opponents, as the Golden Knights are 11-3-2 at home. Vegas comes into this matchup off a rare home loss falling 5-2 to Buffalo.

Ottawa has gotten off to a rough start, as they sit 11-14-0 on the season. The Senators have loss three straight and are 3-5 on the road. Offensively, the Senators can put the puck in the net, ranking 9th in the league in goals per game.

Their problem is they can’t stop anyone from doing the same. The Sens are 23rd in goals allowed. For Vegas, defense has been their strength. They’re the third best team in goals allowed and rank 2nd in penalty kill.

Even with how dominate Vegas has been this season, they have lost back to back games a few times this season. They’ll want to grab this game at home on Sunday night before heading on a five game road trip.

The Golden Knights have also owned Ottawa winning the last eight meetings between the two. Its defense and home crowd should be enough to get them and us back in the win column.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
