For the second time in the history of the Ohio State football program, a Buckeyes player has won the Biletnikoff Award.

The Biletnikoff Award has awarded every season since 1994, by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation. The award is named after Fred Biletnikoff, who played college football at Florida State. He played in the NFL for the Oakland Raiders as well as for the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL.

Over 650 people; consisting of former award winners, journalists, broadcasters, commentators, etc, make up who votes on the award.

The first Ohio State player to win the prestigious award was wide receiver Terry Glenn in 1995.

Now, wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr can add his name to that list.

The 6’4″, 205 lb, junior had 67 catches, for 1,211 yards, with 14 TDs. He averaged 18.1 yards per catch.

He was clearly the best football player on the field, in every game he played this season.

The Ohio State offense ran through Harrison Jr, and the opposing defenses, had to account for him on every snap.

Harrison Jr beat out fellow WRs Rome Odunze (WASH) and Malik Nabers (LSU).

Marvin Harrison Jr is also 1 of 4 finalist for the most prestigious award in all of college football, The Heisman Trophy.

As of now, Harrison Jr, who is a guaranteed Top 5 pick, is currently undecided on whether or not he will enter the upcoming NFL Draft.

I know Buckeyes fans around the world would love to have him come back for one more run.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
