Jalin Hyatt was the first Giants WR to top 100 yards this season

Giants’ wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is nominated for the NFL’s Rookie of the Week after an impressive performance in Sunday’s 10-7 victory against the New England Patriots.

This marks the second consecutive week that a young talent from Big Blue is up for nomination, with quarterback Tommy DeVito winning the award last week after his first career win against the Commanders.

Hyatt, who has been quiet this season to start his NFL career, seized more opportunities this week, showcasing his speed with five receptions for a game-high 109 yards.

Notably, he earned PFF’s highest receiver grade (92.0) and became the first Giants receiver to surpass the 100-yard mark this season. Head coach Brian Daboll praised Hyatt’s impactful plays, emphasizing the trust DeVito has in him.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
