The injury bug continues to plague the Cleveland Browns’ roster. Their 13-10 win against their biggest rival unfortunately came with a price tag.
Super Bowl Champion and veteran safety Rodney McLeod has now been ruled out for the season due to a biceps injury. He had started Sunday’s game in place of injured starting safety Juan Thornhill.
McLeod had 5 total tackles in the game before the injury.
McLeod brought a massive presence to the defense, as he played under DC Jim Schwartz while he was coaching in Philadelphia. His veteran leadership has been key to helping the Browns’ young secondary, which is becoming one of the best in the NFL this season.
Undrafted rookie free agent Ronnie Hickman came in to replace McLeod. Hickman finished the game with 4 total tackles, including 3 solo tackles.
The Cleveland Browns’ next game is against the Denver Broncos, who are 5-5 and riding a 4-game winning streak. The game will air on Sunday, November 26, at 4:05 PM on FOX.
