Las Vegas, NV – In this Inaugural Grand Prix, Leclerc will start ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. However in what was called the best F1 race of 2023, Verstappen had other ideas.

Max Verstappen clinched the victory tonight at the Las Vegas Grand Prix in a thrilling and eventful race. Early on in the race we saw several lead changes between Perez, Leclerc, and Verstappen, but nobody was able to keep Max off the first position for long.

Joining him on the podium were Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez in second and third place, respectively.

The race featured a turbulent first corner, with Verstappen both taking a penalty and seizing the lead from Leclerc, while Bottas, Alonso, and Sainz were involved in another incident.

A safety car was deployed after Lando Norris crashed, but fortunately, he emerged unharmed and swiftly exited the MCL60.

Following a brief contact with Oscar Piastri, Lewis Hamilton experienced a puncture and subsequently informed his Mercedes team that the vehicle had difficulty stopping.

Fortunately, the British driver managed to get the car to the pit and resume the race.

Nico Hulkenberg had to exit the race in the later phases, but skillfully steered the VF-23 off the track to narrowly avoid a safety car. Soon after, Yuki Tsunoda faced similar gearbox issues, leading him to stop at the same circuit point and report the problem to the AlphaTauri team.
